The Atlas Adventurer Club was formed by adventurer Mark Bitton from the United States and his friend Richard in Tanzania. The goal was to find a way of helping adventurers throughout the world find a group of like minded explorers looking for insider information on new adventures, while creating meaningful relationships with adventurers from every continent. By creating a community where adventurers can communicate, share tips, travel logs, photos, and then get recommendations on new adventures- places to visit or to avoid, equipment to have or not to have and so much more, we can promote the coolest places on earth, without spoiling them.
Our Mission-
The Atlas Adventure Club is created for those that don’t want to be tourists, but explorers. For those that like to mesh with their brothers and sisters around the world and try to understand their experience, their lifestyles and their cultures. For those that want to explore, rather than be lined up and then herded like sheep by a tour guide… we hear you and we understand your yearning. Join us to explore places trip advisor won’t tell you about. Immerse yourself in a community where we study the art of exploring rather than visiting. The majority of our earth remains unexplored, quiet, peaceful and awe inspiring. We want to leave it that way by encouraging responsible world citizenship and greater cultural appreciation. May we inspire you to truly live. That is our mission.
